I’ve started to think about family photos as a celebration–stay with me for a minute. I know that it’s a lot to get a date and time scheduled and then figure out outfits and make sure kids are fed and happy and all the things. Mom to mom, I get it. Once all of that is done though, family photos can be a time for celebration. A time to do the things that make your family yours–baking cookies, jumping on the bed, reading books, hanging out on the front porch. That’s exactly what we did during this family session. All the seemingly, small, normal things that they did everyday. This is what I love about at-home and lifestyle family photos; it’s a space to be comfortable and celebrate your family.
