Congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting time in your life and relationship and it definitely deserves to be captured. Often, your engagement photos are taken a little while after getting engaged and sometimes right in the middle of wedding planning. This is why it’s the perfect time to reconnect. Your photo shoot is all about YOU! Leave behind all the worries and stresses of wedding planning and come ready to connect, snuggle, and of course sneak a few (or a lot) of kisses in there if you’re comfortable with that.
Michael + Adriana met during the pandemic, quickly fell in love, and got engaged on Michael’s birthday. Their love for each other was nearly tangible during their engagement session.
These two love the fall colors found in Colorado, so we decided on Meyers Ranch park for their session location. This location is located about 25 minutes outside of Denver and the aspen leaves were in their peak.
Of course, their engagement photos wouldn’t be complete without their fur babies. Dogs are always welcome at your session. You can read some helpful tips about how to include your furry family members here.
A Few Tips for your Engagement Photos
While engagement photos are some of my favorite, I know they can feel stressful or awkward for a couple. But, never fear! My job as your engagement photographer is to make sure you feel comfortable so we can catch those moments of love and laughter. I will offer lots of prompts and help you have fun so you can let any awkwardness you might feel go.
When you show up, take a deep breath, give each other a hug, and be ready for anything. Always communicate with your photographer. If something feels weird or uncomfortable, let your photographer know. They want you to enjoy yourself, not hate the experience.
Sound like your type of session? I’d love to chat with you!
